What Qemtr is

Qemtr is a Mac app with a Finder extension. It helps you copy paths, create files or folders, open a selection in another Mac app, and build a text prompt from file paths.

What we collect

Qemtr does not collect personal data on our servers. The app has no account system, no analytics SDK, no advertising, no crash reporter, and no network API for AI or anything else.

Everything the app stores stays on your Mac, in Qemtr’s App Group container:

• Settings (which menu items are enabled, Dock / menu bar / launch at login)
• The list of apps you chose for Open
• Working-folder bookmarks you granted
• Custom actions and file templates you added
• A short-lived handoff file used when the Finder extension asks the main app to run an action

We do not read the contents of your documents to build prompts. Prompts include paths you selected, not file bodies.

Purchases

Optional unlocks go through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment. Qemtr only stores an on-device unlock flag in the App Group container. We never see your Apple ID or card.

Permissions

• Downloads. Only to write Qemtr Sample.txt during setup so you can try the menu. Qemtr does not browse Downloads.
• Folders you choose. Creating files or handing a folder to Terminal / Cursor / VS Code / Xcode needs a working folder you pick in a system open panel. You can remove it in Settings.
• Launch at login. Optional. You can turn it off in Settings or in System Settings → Login Items.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data. If you paste a prompt into another app (Cursor, ChatGPT, and so on), that app’s policy applies. Qemtr does not upload the prompt.

Children

Qemtr is a developer utility. It is not directed at children under 13.

应用写入的数据都留在你这台 Mac 的 App Group 容器里：设置、你选过的 Open 应用、你授权的工作目录书签、自定义动作和模板，以及扩展交给主程序时用的短时交接文件。

生成 Prompt 时不读取文件内容，只使用你选中的路径。

购买

可选解锁走 Apple 内购。付款由 Apple 处理。Qemtr 只在本机 App Group 里记一个解锁标记，看不到你的 Apple ID 或支付卡。

权限

• 下载文件夹。仅在引导时写入 Qemtr Sample.txt，不会浏览 Downloads 里的其他文件。
• 你选择的文件夹。新建文件或把目录交给 Terminal / Cursor / VS Code / Xcode，需要你在系统面板里授权工作目录，可在设置里移除。
• 登录时打开。可选。可在设置或系统设置 → 登录项里关掉。

共享

我们不出售、不共享这些数据。你把 Prompt 粘贴到其他应用后，适用对方的政策。Qemtr 不会上传 Prompt。

儿童

Qemtr 是开发者工具，不以 13 岁以下儿童为对象。
